Meet Emily, the owner and founder of Love Living Holistics. Emily is a passionate holistic lifestyle practitioner specializing in life coaching, reiki energy healing and transformational group facilitation. She graduated from Wheaton College with her BA in Women’s Studies and after graduating, she backpacked through Europe for two months exploring new places, making friends of strangers and building an important foundation of independence, courage, curiosity and adventure.
After obtaining her esthetics license in Florida and then Rhode Island, Emily moved back to her hometown of Newport, Rhode Island in 2010 and began her own independent esthetics practice, Emily Perkins Esthetics. With a strong dedication to her clients and a deep holistic philosophy of offering a whole being experience, Emily built a well known reputation of excellence.
In 2013 Emily received her Reiki I certification which opened up a world of spiritual and personal expansion and exploration. She traveled to places like Guatemala and Costa Rica to work with other healers and shamans, and followed her reiki journey to receive her Master certification with William Rand, the founder of the International Center For Reiki Training. She is an Usui Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki Master and is teaching certification courses to pass on the magic of reiki.
In 2016 Emily attended Accomplishment Coaching, one of the finest coach training programs in the world and then in 2018 the COR Leadership Development Training for embodied transformational group work and is now participating in their Advanced Facilitator Training as well.
In 2020 just weeks before the Covid shutdown, Emily opened a holistic wellness center called The Sanctuary. Through community support and the need for healing spaces, The Sanctuary grew and thrived, becoming a home for many talented holistic practitioners and facilitators offering a wide range of experiences from bodywork and facials, to yoga teacher trainings, reiki trainings, sound baths and more. It now lives on in the hands of the amazing Katie Moorhead.
In 2023 Emily gave birth to her first child, Obsidian and in 2025 released her first book of poetry. Emily has a passion for supporting others in feeling deeply loved, alive and truly seen; to assist them in lifting the weight of whatever is getting in the way in order for them to embrace their essence and the fullness of who they are. For Emily, its is a profound honor to partner with her clients. To hold their hand as they walk home to themselves.
